Hi, We were pondering on how Jerusalem could come to such great power in the end times…having reached the conclusion that Mystery Babylon is indeed That Great City.
We then came across the following video:

It is interesting to hear the comment ‘we have muslims, christians and jews all working together’ mmmmm.
The posession of oil enables one to be politically controlling … requiring nations to bow down to your demands. ‘That great city which reigns over the kings of the earth’.

There is an interesting bit of translation in Rev 17:13 .. the kings who give their power to the beast, that word “give” in Strong’s is diadidōmi can be translated, to give to a crowd, or to deal out, etc. it implies a multitude which could be referring to these kings of the beast giving their authority to the “multitude of the beast” as referenced in the famous “calculate the multitude of the beast, for it is the multitude of a man”
it could also be juxtaposing the fact that God’s eternal gov’t is a Kingdom, and not a “democracy”
also “give their power and strength” can also be translated as “abundance” (production) and “freedom” or “liberty”
so it is possible that the beast could also be the waters, which is another form, they, the multitude, having the spirit of the beast.
