Thanks for posting this, Chris. Picked up a few tidbits and was surprised to see how easy some of the new tools (MS Movie Maker) are.. had a video with sound going in literally 5 minutes, no effort. In the past, I had worked with multimedia and felt it daunting to approach it, but it was simple.
For great sound, I’d recommend buying a “snowball” off ebay. Make sure to be in a very quiet room and turn of any sounds that might come across as static. It will take a little getting used to, but eventually its a good deal.
