  1. If I may, I would like to answer that with something that can give an understanding on why good things happen to bad people and bad things to good. It’s simple. God is The Holy Father. God is Love. Grace and Mercy are a Big part of Love. Justice is getting what you deserve, whether it’s good or bad. Mercy is not getting the punishment you deserve. Grace is getting the good that you don’t deserve. Now. It says everyone is a sinner and has sinned. We all ask God for mercy and grace. We also do receive both. Now, if we expect and receive grace, then why would you complain about how much others get compared to you? or how much better they supposedly are? or how much mercy do you judge God is showing you? When your dead, there is no more room left for reward or repentance. God allowing you to continue living is already an expression of mercy. God is patient with his children, and that’s what we are, ideally. If God sees every single person as his child, how do you, expect Him to deal with His child? Put him to death for making wrong decisions and doing the wrong things? Also, those who are more grown up are expected to be able to endure more and sometimes it may feel unfair, but that’s expected remember? what is fairness? fairness is justice. And what is justice? Definitely something that would put us all to death, because that’s what we all deserve. We receive grace And mercy. Remember the laborers who were paid the same? and why? because the one who hires is generous. Should we criticize generosity? Remember the son who came back to his father after squandering his inheritance? Did the Father embrace him in Grace or Judgement? And remember how his older son complained about hos he didn’t receive celebration even though he never disobeyed? and he was upset because even though his younger brother did everything wrong, but repented, his little brother received one. Remember Job? the most upright man on earth but also the most afflicted, for good reason. Another short answer is, in the beginning death was brought in, by whom? God? no, Us. Suffering is a byproduct of Death. Why not ask, why does God allow good things to happen, too? It’s natural to want to know things but consider the possibility that we just might be hypocritically asking for judgement. “Judge not, that ye be not judged”.

  2. In another short statement- Mercy is mercy, whether or not you see or know how much is being received and the fact of the matter is, we absolutely do receive mercy, continually, as well as grace. Miracles happen all the time but it doesn’t mean you notice it or if God allows you to see. God only gives us what we can bear and provides for a way out in every situation. We are called to endure and be patient. Not to grumble. When I was a child, I thought, spake and acted as child. When I grew up, I put away childish ways. This life is temporary and life is but a mist. If we are grumbling about temporary suffering which is meant for good, then we have forgotten about the eternal heaven which has no suffering. There are those who increase their talents. The one who has ten, the one who has five and the one who has one. Usually it’s those who have one who try to do the bare minimum or even worse, they do n’t try at all. We should be like a body builder who is enthusiastic about training and knows the saying no pain no gain, not others who shrink at the thought of exercising.^_^
