Matthew 24 Luke 21 Mark 13 Revelation 6 Joel 2 Daniel 11 Daniel 12
1And Jesus went out, and departed from the temple: and one of his disciples came to him for to shew him what manner of stones and the buildings of the temple. 5And as some spake of the temple, how it was adorned with goodly stones and gifts,
2And Jesus answering said unto them, See ye not all these things? verily I say unto you, the days will come, in the which, There shall not be left here one stone upon another, that shall not be thrown down.
3And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples ( Peter and James and John and Andrew) came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and what sign will there be when these things shall come to pass? (shall be fulfilled?) [and] of the end of the world?
4And Jesus answered and said unto them, Take heed that no man deceive you.
5For many shall come in my name, saying, I am Christ; and shall deceive many. and the time draweth near: go ye not therefore after them.
6And when ye shall hear of wars and [commotions] rumours of wars: see that ye be not troubled [ terrified]: for all these things must needs first come to pass, but the end shall not be yet [ by and by].
2And I saw, and behold a white horse: and he that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth conquering, and to conquer.
7For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: 4And there went out another horse that was red: and power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.
and there shall be famines, 5And when he had opened the third seal, I heard the third beast say, Come and see. And I beheld, and lo a black horse; and he that sat on him had a pair of balances in his hand.
6And I heard a voice in the midst of the four beasts say, A measure of wheat for a penny, and three measures of barley for a penny; and see thou hurt not the oil and the wine. and pestilences and troubles 8And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth., and earthquakes, in divers places, and fearful sights and great signs shall there be from heaven.
8All these are the beginning of sorrows.
9But take heed to yourselves: for 9Then shall [they ][ before all these] [lay their hands on you and persecute you and] deliver you up to [ councils, synagogues, and into prisons, being brought before kings and rulers for my name’s sake.] to be afflicted, beaten, and [they] shall kill you: and ye shall be hated of all nations for my name’s sake. [it will be ]for a testimony against them. 9And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held:
13And it shall turn to you for a testimony.
14Settle it therefore in your hearts, not to take thought beforehand [nor to] meditate before what ye shall answer: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost. 15For I will give you a mouth and wisdom, which all your adversaries shall not be able to gainsay nor resist. 18But there shall not an hair of your head perish.
19In your patience possess ye your souls.
10And then shall many be offended, and shall betray one another, and shall hate one another.
16And ye shall be betrayed both by parents, and brethren [ to death], and kinsfolks, and friends; and the father the son; and children shall rise up against their parents, and some of you shall they cause to be put to death.
11And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.
12And because iniquity shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.
13But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved.
10And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled. 10Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
14And this gospel of the kingdom [must first] be preached [ or published] in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.
20And when ye shall see Jerusalem compassed with armies, then know that the desolation thereof is nigh. 15When ye therefore shall see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, stand in the holy place, [where it ought not] (whoso readeth, let him understand:)
31And arms shall stand on his part, and they shall pollute the sanctuary of strength, and shall take away the daily sacrifice, and they shall place the abomination that maketh desolate. 11And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. 12Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days.
16Then let them which be [are] in Judaea flee into the mountains:
17Let him which is on the housetop not come down to take any thing out of his house:
18Neither let him which is in the field return back to take his clothes.
and let them which are in the midst of it depart out; and let not them that are in the countries enter thereinto.
19And woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck in those days!
20But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day:
22For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.
21For then shall be great tribulation, [and affliction] [in the land, and wrath upon this people], such as was not since the beginning of the world [which God created ] to this time, no, nor ever shall be. 24And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. 1And at that time shall Michael stand up, the great prince which standeth for the children of thy people: and there shall be a time of trouble, such as never was since there was a nation even to that same time: 1Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; 2A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.
22And except those days should be shortened, there should no flesh be saved: but for the elect’s sake [whom he hath chosen, ] those days shall be shortened.
3A fire devoureth before them; and behind them a flame burneth: the land is as the garden of Eden before them, and behind them a desolate wilderness; yea, and nothing shall escape them.
4The appearance of them is as the appearance of horses; and as horsemen, so shall they run.
5Like the noise of chariots on the tops of mountains shall they leap, like the noise of a flame of fire that devoureth the stubble, as a strong people set in battle array.
6Before their face the people shall be much pained: all faces shall gather blackness.
7They shall run like mighty men; they shall climb the wall like men of war; and they shall march every one on his ways, and they shall not break their ranks:
8Neither shall one thrust another; they shall walk every one in his path: and when they fall upon the sword, they shall not be wounded.
9They shall run to and fro in the city; they shall run upon the wall, they shall climb up upon the houses; they shall enter in at the windows like a thief.
32And such as do wickedly against the covenant shall he corrupt by flatteries: but the people that do know their God shall be strong, and do exploits. 33And they that understand among the people shall instruct many: yet they shall fall by the sword, and by flame, by captivity, and by spoil, many days.
34Now when they shall fall, they shall be holpen with a little help: but many shall cleave to them with flatteries. 35And some of them of understanding shall fall, to try them, and to purge, and to make them white, even to the time of the end: because it is yet for a time appointed.
23Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, here is Christ, or there; believe it not.
24For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive [ or seduce,] the very elect.
23But take ye heed: 25Behold, I have told you before.
26Wherefore if they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the desert; go not forth: behold, he is in the secret chambers; believe it not.
27For as the lightning cometh out of the east, and shineth even unto the west; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
28For wheresoever the carcase is, there will the eagles be gathered together.
29Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of [ that are in ] the heavens shall be shaken: [ and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring;]
12And I beheld when he had opened the sixth seal, and, lo, there was a great earthquake; and the sun became black as sackcloth of hair, and the moon became as blood; 13And the stars of heaven fell unto the earth, even as a fig tree casteth her untimely figs, when she is shaken of a mighty wind.
14And the heaven departed as a scroll when it is rolled together; and every mountain and island were moved out of their places.
10The earth shall quake before them; the heavens shall tremble: the sun and the moon shall be dark, and the stars shall withdraw their shining:
30And I will shew wonders in the heavens and in the earth, blood, and fire, and pillars of smoke.
31The sun shall be turned into darkness, and the moon into blood, before the great and terrible day of the LORD come.
32And it shall come to pass, that whosoever shall call on the name of the LORD shall be delivered: for in mount Zion and in Jerusalem shall be deliverance, as the LORD hath said, and in the remnant whom the LORD shall call.
26Men’s hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken. 15And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the dens and in the rocks of the mountains; 16And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb: 17For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?
11And the LORD shall utter his voice before his army: for his camp is very great: for he is strong that executeth his word: for the day of the LORD is great and very terrible; and who can abide it?
12Therefore also now, saith the LORD, turn ye even to me with all your heart, and with fasting, and with weeping, and with mourning:
30And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
28And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
31And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, [ from the uttermost part of the earth and] from one end of heaven to the other.
15Blow the trumpet in Zion, sanctify a fast, call a solemn assembly: 16Gather the people, sanctify the congregation, assemble the elders, gather the children, and those that suck the breasts: let the bridegroom go forth of his chamber, and the bride out of her closet.
32Now learn a parable of the fig tree; [and all the trees;] When his [or her] branch is yet tender, and putteth forth leaves, [ ye see and] ye know that summer is nigh [at hand]:
33So likewise ye, when ye shall see all these things [come to pass], know that [the kingdom of God] it is near, even at the doors.
34Verily I say unto you, [ that] This generation shall not pass [ away], till all these things be fulfilled .
35Heaven and earth shall pass away, but my words shall not pass away.
36But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, [neither the Son,] but my Father only.
37But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
38For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.
40Then shall two be in the field; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
41Two women shall be grinding at the mill; the one shall be taken, and the other left.
42Watch therefore: [and pray:] for ye know not what hour your Lord doth come. and pray always, that ye may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that shall come to pass, and to stand before the Son of man.
43But know this, that if the goodman of the house had known in what watch the thief would come, he would have watched, and would not have suffered his house to be broken up.
44Therefore be ye also ready: for in such an hour as ye think not the Son of man cometh.
34For the Son of Man is as a man taking a far journey, who left his house, and gave authority to his servants, and to every man his work, and commanded the porter to watch.
35Watch ye therefore: for ye know not when the master of the house cometh, at even, or at midnight, or at the cockcrowing, or in the morning: 36Lest coming suddenly he find you sleeping.
37And what I say unto you I say unto all, Watch.
45Who then is a faithful and wise servant, whom his lord hath made ruler over his household, to give them meat in due season?
46Blessed is that servant, whom his lord when he cometh shall find so doing.
47Verily I say unto you, That he shall make him ruler over all his goods.
48But and if that evil servant shall say in his heart, My lord delayeth his coming;
49And shall begin to smite his fellowservants, and to eat and drink with the drunken;
34And take heed to yourselves, lest at any time your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting, and drunkenness, and cares of this life, and so that day come upon you unawares.
50The lord of that servant shall come in a day when he looketh not for him, and in an hour that he is not aware of, 35For as a snare shall it come on all them that dwell on the face of the whole earth.
51And shall cut him asunder, and appoint him his portion with the hypocrites: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth.
