A couple of other examples of Hebrew words in the plural denoting a singular object is bike which is transliterated into English as “ofana’eem”, and toilet which is transliterated as “sheroteem.” The “eem” at the end represents plurality, but this is not always the case. There are other examples but I can’t think of them right now. Thanks.
